<p>Rosebank College has a proud and varied history of over 150 years as part of the Good Samaritan family established in 1857 and belonging to the Benedictine spiritual and educational tradition founded by St Benedict in the 4th century. The College belongs to the community of ten schools across Australia called Good Samaritan Education (GSE). Established in 2011 by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan, the mission of Good Samaritan Education is to sustain and nurture our Catholic schools as Good Samaritan Benedictine communities of learning.</p>

<p><strong>About the Role </strong></p>
<p>A school of Good Samaritan Education, Rosebank College, seeks expressions of interest for the position of a permanent part-time Diverse Learning Teacher (0.6 FTE) to join the Diverse Learning Faculty as soon as possible, working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (preferable but negotiable). This role will work collaboratively within the Diverse Learning Coordinator and Team across all departments and year groups, undertaking responsibilities within the team, as required by the Diverse Learning Coordinator.</p>
<p>The Diverse Learning Faculty fosters a culture of inclusivity and continuous improvement committed to student-centred practice. Applicants for this position must be excellent classroom practitioners, dedicated team players, interested in the care and welfare of students, and have particular skills in their teaching to equip them to contribute to the College’s educational program in teaching and learning. Applicants will also need to be skilled in the use of educational technology in the classroom. This position will allow a creative and passionate teacher to flourish.</p>

<p>The successful candidate will be an outstanding educator who is highly motivated to support Rosebank College to ensure continued academic achievement by inspiring and developing innovative learning that engages and values every learner. <p>To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:</p>

<li>Experience with the NCCD and coordination of Personalised Learning Plans for students with an identified disability.</li>
<li>Ability to ensure that students with diverse learning needs are identified, assessed, and appropriately supported.</li>
<li>Experience in conducting screening and assessment.</li>
<li>Development of effective teaching and learning strategies to address literacy and numeracy.</li>
<li>Develop and facilitate innovative, effective, inclusive, and NESA-compliant programs.</li>
<li>Effectively manage the Diverse Learning department's resources, both human and financial.</li>
<li>Work effectively with young people to develop successful learning and study habits.</li>
<li>Demonstrated flexibility and resilience in a highly dynamic educational environment, with the ability to adapt effectively to diverse student needs and changing departmental priorities.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive student data in accordance with school policies and privacy requirements.</li>
<li>Understand and show commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teaching.</li>
<li>Possess proven ability to incorporate modern technologies into their teaching practice and convey passion about classroom innovation.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Possess a valid Working with Children Check.</li>
<li>A commitment to the child safeguarding principles.</li>
<li>Willingness to support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College.</li>
